Dear ICT/ECT 2024 Community

The joint 40th International and 20th European Thermoelectric Conference, ICT/ECT 2024, supported by the International Thermoelectric Society (ITS) and the European Thermoelectric Society (ETS), will be held for the first time in Poland, from 30 June to 4 July 2024, in the beautiful city of Krakow.

In the spirit of previous conferences, ICT/ECT 2024 in Krakow will also be a forum for discussion of new ideas and discoveries in the field of chemistry, physics and materials science, as well as practical applications in the industrial and energy sectors that contribute to the progress in thermoelectricity. The conference will cover all possible aspects: theory and modelling, physical phenomena, new materials, measurement techniques, thermoelectric devices, systems and applications.

In order to reach a wide audience of young scientists and students who want to contribute their fresh ideas to the development of thermoelectric technologies of the future, we are organising a special free of charge Thermoelectric Summer School. Participants will learn the fundamentals of physics, chemistry, materials engineering and thermoelectric devices design from top experts in the field.

As a community of thermoelectricians, we passionately believe that our inventive work is the cornerstone of revolutionary green energy solutions. We warmly invite business representatives and companies looking for pioneering energy technologies, as well as those who have already implemented thermoelectric innovations, to showcase their accomplishments at dedicated booths and lecture halls.

We also sincerely welcome all individuals and institutions wishing to support the development of the latest eco-friendly energy technologies. We cordially invite you to attend the Conference and support our community as a Sponsor.

ICT/ECT 2024 is organised by AGH University of Krakow, one of the most important academic and research centres in Poland.

Finally, we would like warmly invite all of you to visit historic and Royal Capital City of Krakow Krakow, the heart of Polish science, culture, tradition and architecture.

Looking forward to see you in Poland
